Souper Bowl

With much anticipation, the official kickoff for the 2012 Souper Bowl starts January 22, 2012.  The McLouth UMC has been gearing up to take on the Tonganoxie UMC for the 2012 Souper Bowl Championship by running to the store to sack cans of soup, stew, chili, ravioli, Beefaroni and SpaghettiOs.  The McLouth UMC team must keep rushing those cans to church through February 5, in order to tackle hunger and block Tonganoxie UMC from intercepting the Souper Bowl trophy.  One point will be earned for each can of condensed soup and two points for each can of “chunky-style” soup along with the additional acceptable canned items.
